Playing

Is Daily Bhop free?
Yes. The whole game is free to play in your browser. There is nothing to buy: every skin, glove and celebration is unlocked with coins you earn by playing. The site is supported by ads.
Do I need to download or install anything?
No. Daily Bhop runs directly in modern browsers such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, on computers, phones and tablets. A computer with a mouse gives you the most control.
What are the controls?
On a computer: WASD to move, the mouse to look, Space to jump (hold it to keep hopping), R to go back to your last checkpoint, T to restart the run and F to inspect your knife. On a touch screen: your left thumb moves, your right thumb looks, and you hold the jump button to hop.
I have never bunny hopped before. Where do I start?
Open the two minute training course from the main menu, then read our How to Bunny Hop guide. The short version: hold Space, let go of W, and strafe with A or D while turning the mouse the same way.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes. Turn on Mobile bhop assist in the settings and the game handles the strafing and hop timing while you hold the jump button. You just look where you want to go. Landscape works best.
The game runs slowly on my computer. What can I do?
Open the settings with the gear in the top right corner of the menu and turn on Performance mode. It lowers the resolution and removes the floating particles. Closing other heavy browser tabs also helps.

Maps

Why does the map keep changing?
That is the idea behind the name: a fresh track is generated every 15 minutes, the same for every player in the world. When more than half of the players in your lobby have finished, the next map arrives one minute later. See Maps & Themes for details.
Can I replay an old map?
No. Each map only exists during its time slot, which is what makes every run a little event. You can retry the current map as many times as you like while it is live.
What are the glowing pads and cyan strips?
Glowing pads are jump pads that launch you into the air and boost your speed. Cyan strips are boost strips that push you forward. Both are explained in the Advanced Tips.
What happens if I fall?
You go back to the last checkpoint you reached, and the clock keeps running. Every map has ten checkpoints.

Coins, ranks and rewards

How do I earn coins?
By finishing runs. The finish card lists every reward line one by one: finishing, your medal, your average and top speed, perfect hops, your best combo, a first finish or new personal best on the map, a top three place in your lobby, plus coins for every checkpoint and ring along the way.
What is the daily bonus?
Your first five finished runs each day pay double coins, and runs six to ten pay 50 percent extra. After that, runs pay the normal amount. The daily missions panel shows where you are.
What are daily missions and the login streak?
Every day everyone gets the same three missions (easy, medium and hard), such as reaching a speed or landing a number of perfect hops. Each pays coins once when completed. The login streak pays a reward each day you come back, growing for seven days in a row.
What are Bhop Points and ranks?
Bhop Points (BP) measure your progress over time. A finished map gives 1 point, a silver medal 2 and a gold medal 3, counted once per map at your best medal. Points move you up through the ranks: Rookie, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Master.
Is there a leaderboard?
Yes, two. The in game leaderboard shows the players racing on the current map. The weekly leaderboard in the menu ranks players with a confirmed account by the Bhop Points they earned that week.

Friends and accounts

How do I play with friends?
Click Play with friends in the menu, create a party and send the link. Everyone with the same party link lands in the same lobby. Parties also earn more coins: 33 percent more with two players, 67 percent with three and double with four or more, up to ten players.
Do I need an account?
No. You can play right away and your progress is kept automatically. Signing in with Google or email keeps your coins, skins and rank safe across devices, and is needed to appear on the weekly leaderboard.
How is cheating prevented?
For signed in players, every finished run is checked by the server before coins or points are paid: the server rebuilds the same map and rejects times or speeds that the physics cannot produce.
What data do you collect?
As little as possible. The Privacy Policy explains exactly what is stored and why.
