Maps & Themes
There is no fixed map list in Daily Bhop. Every 15 minutes a brand new track is generated, and every player in the world gets the same one. Here is how those tracks are put together and what each theme brings.
A new track every 15 minutes
Each track is built from a number (a seed) that comes from the current time, so everyone who plays at the same moment races on exactly the same course, with no download and no waiting. A map stays up for 15 minutes. When more than half of the players in your lobby have crossed the finish line, the rotation speeds up and the next map arrives one minute later.
Every map has a name made from its theme (for example Frozen Drift or Molten Causeway), a difficulty, ten checkpoints and three medal times. The time limit shown at the top of the menu tells you how long the current map has left.
Difficulty
| Level | What to expect |
|---|---|
| Easy | No moving platforms, spirals or chained pads, wider bridges and fewer shortcuts. A good level for learning to keep a hop chain going. |
| Medium | Moving platforms, spirals and chained pads join the mix, with more gates, forks and air control. Most of the fast lines start to matter here. |
| Hard | Every section type, the narrowest bridges, the most shortcuts and rings, and two hidden routes per map. Rewards clean, fast hopping. |
The six themes
Every map gets one of six themes. A theme changes the sky, the colours of the platforms, the scenery in the distance and the particles floating in the air. It also changes which sections appear more often, so each theme plays a little differently.
Neon City

A synthwave night with glowing pink edges and drifting cyan motes. Neon City favours wall corridors, moving gates, slaloms and hop chains: tight, rhythmic sections where clean strafing matters more than big jumps.
Wind Canyon

Red rock and a low sun, with dust in the wind. This is the theme of flight: jump pads, chained pads, air control islands, skip gaps and drops show up far more often. Expect to spend a lot of time in the air.
Ice Land

Bright and cold, with snow falling around you. Ice Land leans on narrow bridges, thin ledges, slaloms and zigzags. Precision beats raw speed here.
Volcano

A burning sky with embers floating up from below. Volcano maps climb and fall a lot: stairs, drops, moving gates and moving platforms are common, so the stair skip pads and gate swings from the Advanced Tips pay off.
Space Station

Steel platforms against a black, starry sky. Space Station mixes chained jump pads, spiral descents, moving platforms and air control islands. It is the best theme for chasing a new top speed.
Jungle Temple

Mossy stone, golden pads and fireflies. Jungle Temple is built for explorers: forks, strafe curves and skip gaps are common, and every temple map hides one extra hidden route.
Track sections
A track is a chain of sections joined by platforms. Each section is designed so that a slow player can get through it safely while a fast bunny hopper can clear it in one flow without losing speed.
| Section | What it is |
|---|---|
| Hop chain | A straight run of platforms with even gaps. Pure rhythm. |
| Strafe curve | Platforms that bend around a corner, so you have to turn while hopping. |
| Zigzag | Islands that alternate left and right, one strafe direction per hop. |
| Narrow ledge | A long, thin strip. Stay centred. |
| Bridge | A snaking single lane path of small tiles. |
| Slalom | Weave between poles, or take the fast lane along the side. |
| Stairs | Rising steps, with a side pad that flies fast players over them. |
| Drop | A big step down to a lower level. |
| Spiral | One full descending turn around a centre beside the route. |
| Jump pad | A pad that launches you across a wide gap. |
| Chained pads | A pad that throws you onto a floating pad that throws you again. |
| Air control | Pad islands set off to alternating sides. Steer in flight to land each one. |
| Boost run | A speed strip followed by a gap that needs the speed. |
| Skip gap | A detour that fast players can jump straight across. |
| Fork | A safe long way and a risky short line of small platforms. |
| Corridor | A straight hop run between walls. |
| Moving platforms | Platforms that slide side to side or lift up and down. |
| Moving gates | Walls that rise and sink between steps. Wait, or swing around them. |
On top of those sections, every map hides one or more hidden routes: a line of small platforms that cuts across between two close parts of the track. Look for a ring floating over an unexpected gap.
Medals and records
Each map has gold, silver and bronze times, shown in the leaderboard panel. Medals earn extra coins and Bhop Points (the points that set your rank, from Rookie up to Master). Your best time on each map is saved as a ghost you can race on later attempts while the map is still live.
